SmarterMe Mental Health Services is committed to providing a website and administrative experience that are accessible, inclusive, and usable by people with disabilities.
1. Our approach
We aim to improve accessibility over time and to follow recognized accessibility practices, including the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness. We also seek to meet applicable requirements under Ontario accessibility legislation.
2. Website features
Accessibility considerations may include semantic page structure, keyboard navigation, visible focus indicators, readable colour contrast, responsive layouts, descriptive labels, scalable text, and compatibility with commonly used assistive technologies.
3. Alternative formats and communication support
On request, we will make reasonable efforts to provide website information or administrative communications in an accessible format, taking into account the person’s disability-related needs and the feasibility of the requested format.
4. Third-party platforms
Some functions may be delivered through third-party scheduling, payment, video, document, or communications platforms. Although we select providers with usability in mind, we do not control every accessibility feature of those external systems.
5. Feedback
We welcome feedback about accessibility barriers. Please identify the page, feature, or communication involved and describe the accommodation that would be helpful.
